Exchange Club founded in Orrville in 1924 – Darlene Morrison

Exchange Club members celebrated its 95 years as an active service organization in Orrville last September.

Exchange’s four major goals are: Americanism, Youth Recognition, Community Service and Prevention of Child Abuse.

We are one of the oldest service clubs in Orrville. We have been committed to our youth and have been giving Exchange Club scholarships to deserving Orrville graduating seniors for many years. Since the 1980s Exchange Club has given more than $300,000 in scholarships.

The National Exchange Club Mission Statement: Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.

The National Exchange is a network spanning the United States and Puerto Rico, and is comprised of more than 20,000 members and nearly 650 clubs, all striving together to fulfill Exchange’s Mission, inspiring communities to become better places to live.

The club’s four major goals can only be accomplished by the membership support of our three annual fundraisers.
