The Exchange Club of Orrville began in 1924. Orrville sponsored both the Wooster and Ashland clubs and it has actively supported Orrville in a variety of ways. Among Exchange Club’s many contributions are Orr Park improvements (Scout Cabin, lighted horse shoe pits, remodeled picnic pavilions); Dunlap Memorial Hospital (now Aultman Orrville Hospital) and the former Wayne General Hospital (now a nursing home); Orrville Public Library; YMCA, the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, Every Woman’s House and the OHS trophy case.
